New York Cares Day Fall 2105
On Saturday, October 17, 2015 over forty MHSIS students along with the principal, staff members and imentors rolled up their sleeves and participated as Team Marble Hill Cares in New York Cares Day Fall 2015. New York Cares Day Fall is an annual event when thousands of volunteers gather together to revitalize and beautify New York City schools. Marble Hill School for International Studies was again chosen as a school site. Team Marble Hill Cares joined other teams of volunteers at the school. Volunteers worked with muralist Cassandra Rose to paint her artwork inspired by National Bullying Prevention campaigns. They also painted lockers and doors, and helped renew the Kennedy Campus Community Garden.
